Reiki is a Japanese form of energy healing. The word Reiki translates as "Universal Life Force Energy" The practitioner works with symbols to heal, re balance and energise the recipient physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Reiki can be received with a "hands on treatment" by the practitioner resting their hands in various positions around the body of the client. Or in a "hands off treatment" by the practitioner hovering their hands above the client a few inches away. Reiki is deeply relaxing, soothing and calming. It is fantastic for a wide range of ailments including stress, anxiety, insomnia, depression, fatigue and so much more. It can even be helpful for physical issues. Holistic Massage:
Great for relaxing and releasing knots and tension, holistic massage is a great medium pressure massage combining long, slow strokes with deeper movements to release stress and tension.
Deep Tissue Massage:
Deep tissue massage is a firm pressure massage, working on trigger points to release deeper knots and tension. This tends to be more stimulating than holistic massage.
Lomi Lomi Massage:
This traditional Hawaiian massage involves long, slow, light strokes to soothe the recipient into a deep, healing trance state. It is fantastic for calming over active minds and for women who prefer lighter touch.
